As kids, soft boiled eggs were so luxurious. We feel like kings eating from those little egg cups and using the small spoon. There was only one problem, we would make a mess out of it and we were unable to peel our own eggs. Mom doing what mom’s do best decided out with the luxury for us and back to dippy eggs.

Instructions
  1. Place eggs in a sauce pan and cover with 1-inch of water.
  2. Place on stove on high and heat until water just boils. Remove from the heat, cover and let stand 2 minutes for a soft runny center, 3 minutes for a center thick and 4 minutes for a center creamy and set.
  3. Serve in an egg shell to be eaten out of the shell or peel, slice in half and serve as is.
