Iced Tea with Lemon and Sweetener

A quick and easy way to make a gallon of iced tea. Remember this is your tea, so add all the sweetener, lemon or other flavoring you want. Make it your own.

I brew the tea in a drip coffee maker. Keeps the mess down, and the top is so easy to just rinse. No coffee maker, just brew the tea in some very hot water for 10 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, add 40 ice cubes to a clean plastic gallon milk jug, add the sweetener and lemon juice and fill the to about the half way mark with cold water. Put the lid on and shake well to dissolve the sweetener.
  3. When the tea is finished brewing, discard the tea bags and add the tea to the plastic milk jug. Mix well. Adjust lemon and sweetener as desired to your taste.
  4. Serve in a glass of ice. Keep refrigerated.
Recipe Notes

Remember the lemon and sweetener are up to you.  You can make it as sweet and lemony as you want.

Feel free to add other flavorings. . . Maybe a little Raspberry flavoring for a raspberry tea,  or some maraschino cherry juice for a cherry flavored tea.  Or perhaps you like it plain. It's your tea make it how you wish.

Enjoy
